What is a CF? Hmm...The one who acts a certain way, does certain things, believes by definitions, behaves, obeys, observes and does what he/she is -by someone else's definition - supposed to do (?), and all in order to please God, to make Him like him/her, to make Him forgive him/her.
Maybe that?
"What you really believe about Jesus is shown by what you do after you realize you don't have to do anything." (D. Willard)

wikipedia (source of all knowledge :-) ) : Fundamentalism refers to a belief in, and strict adherence to a set of basic principles (often religious in nature)...

In this definition, i consider myself a fundamentalist. Often, the word fundamentalist is considered a bad thing. But on the other hand, is it so wrong to really really believe in something?

The thing is: people associate terms like 'fundamentalism ', 'radical' and 'extremism' with the violence muslim-terroris ts show, because they're called radical muslimfundament alists and -muslimextremis ts by the media.

Now, if we look at a Christian Fundamentalists: that would or should be someone who's life is based on Christ, no? So that's kinda like the layer underneath his or her dicisions. The word 'radical' would add decisive action to that, and the word 'extremist' just puts in in perspective to other people around him.

Well, since you want responce... :-P

In my humble opinion it is someone who is not open for other arguments and holds on to a certain perspective on biblical and cultural interpretation. Anything that does not stroke with his/her sence of "truth" could be labeled as false and unbiblical. It's not a case of being just critical to other points of view, but making "truth" a god. And since we always need scripture to back these things up I'd go for: ""For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."
Isaiah 55:8-9

Someone who relies more on his idea of truth than on Christ. Which kind of begs the question to what extent the concept might be an oxymoron.
