Unbelievable!!! Who would have thought that this really happens? In the beginning we had our doubts because it is a large group and we weren’t sure that the airline would lower there ticket prices. We really worried and needed to book fast but we didn’t have all the funds together yet. But I always seem to forget Proverbs 3:5-6. Two guys came up and decided to lone us the missing amount so that we could book the tickets and than through sponsoring events we would try to pay it back. That was the first blessing!

The second blessing was that we assumed that the ticket prices would go up as the weekend in August would come closer. Why? Because the airline told us so. They said that as seats are booked and the airplane fills up the tickets prices go up in order to keep seats available until the very last moment before departure. Funny, but no one seemed to book those specific flights and the prices actually went down. If we would have booked earlier, assuming that we would have all the money already in the beginning, we would have paid 700€ more.

The third blessing followed right after that! In the beginning we were looking at a total amount of 4500€ that we still would have to come up with. Because of a cheaper ticket price, team members who sacrificed even more than they had to, and great donations we are currently only missing around 1000€.

Unbelievable!!! Within 4 weeks we found sponsors, booked cheaper tickets, and got more than three-quarter of the needed funds. It seems like God really wants us to go to Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland to be a blessing. Since we received so much already during the preparations we just can’t do different than go and share what God wants us to share.

The whole team is looking forward to go to Carrickfergus. Just as we are excited about this trip the youth group in Carrickfergus is excited as well to welcome us in their town and church. I really believe that God will do something great in the forth weekend of August. He has shown us already that we are preparing under his blessing and who can imagine what the weekend itself will bring.
